Telehealth & In-Person Groups

Therapeutic Health Services offers a variety of in-person and telehealth groups for patients actively enrolled in services with us. Our Mental Health and Substance Use Disorder groups are a way for individuals to get extra support from licensed professionals, in addition to their regular treatment. Attending groups also creates a sense of community among group members as they share experiences, celebrate progress, and support one another, fostering mutual learning and resilience in the face of setbacks.

Interested in joining a group but not yet a patient at THS? Fill out a Get Help form and we’ll contact you about scheduling an intake appointment.

IMPORTANT: You will need to get referred by your counselor or intake specialist to join one of these groups. Groups are virtual unless a THS branch location is listed in their schedule. All of our groups are subject to availability and may become full and therefore unable to accept new participants. Talk to your counselor about which group(s) may be best for you.

Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) & Substance Use Disorder (SUD)

Our MAT and SUD groups focus on helping individuals in their recovery process by allowing them to share their stories, struggles, and successes with others who are also in recovery.

The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) focuses on intensive group counseling for individuals diagnosed with a substance use disorder by exploring recovery tools and skills related to the biological, psychological, sociological and spiritual areas of one’s life. Note: As this is an intensive program, IOP classes occur 3 times a week for 3 hours.

Current Group Schedule:

Eastside Daytime IOP / MTW / 11am – 2pm

Eastside Evening IOP / MTW / 5pm – 8pm

Shoreline Daytime IOP / MTW / 9am – 12pm

The Outpatient Program (OP) is similar to IOP but it meets 1 time a week for 1.5 hours. This group is helpful for individuals diagnosed with a substance use disorder who need a lower level of support or those who have gone through the IOP program and no longer need to attend 3 times a week but still need support.

Current Group Schedule:

Eastside Daytime OP / Thursdays / 11am – 12:30pm

Eastside Evening OP / Thursdays / 5pm – 6:30pm

Everett Daytime OP / Fridays / 9:30am – 11am

Eastside Relapse Prevention / Fridays / 2:30pm – 4pm

Relapse Prevention assists individuals who have experienced recent relapse and/or have been referred to the group by individuals who recognize the need for more intense relapse prevention skills prior to the relapse experience. The group focuses on the identification of personal relapse triggers and alternative methods of coping with the assistance of peers and facilitation by a Substance Use Disorder Professional.

Current Group Schedule:

Eastside Relapse Prevention / Fridays / 2:30pm – 4pm
