Stepped-Care Model

THS’s North Everett program uses a structured, stepped-care model to guide youth and families from intake through treatment. Services begin with a brief screening and clinical assessment to determine needs, level of care, and appropriate supports, including coordination with psychiatry when indicated. Youth and caregivers then participate in a treatment planning session where goals, service options, and next steps are collaboratively developed, with clear pathways for stepping up or down in care as needs change.

Our DBT-based outpatient program follows a 24-week curriculum that includes weekly skills groups, with options for individual therapy, family support, and psychiatric services based on clinical need. Families are central to treatment, with caregiver involvement required at key points and integrated parent coaching throughout. This structured, evidence-based approach supports skill building, symptom reduction, and long-term stabilization while ensuring youth receive the right level of care at the right time.
