School-Based Behavioral Health

THS partners with school districts across the region to connect students and youth with accessible behavioral health services and support. To make care easier to access, our team can meet youth at school or at one of our clinic locations for counseling, behavioral health treatment, and psychiatric services. We work to create supportive, trusted relationships that help young people build resilience and reach their goals.

Programs

Snohomish County

Through a partnership with Snohomish County Human Services, THS provides school-based behavioral health services to students at Glacier Peak High School, Snohomish High School, Stanwood High School, and Sultan High School. Our licensed therapists deliver evidence-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) for youth experiencing mental health or co-occurring substance use concerns, with services available regardless of insurance status. Students who need additional support can be connected to outpatient counseling, psychiatric services, or our WISe program to ensure they receive the level of care that best meets their needs.

Seattle

In Seattle, THS partners with Seattle Public Schools to provide Screening, Brief Intervention, and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) services at McClure Middle School, Washington Middle School, and Meany Middle School. These early intervention services help students address behavioral health concerns before they become more serious while creating a pathway to ongoing support when needed. With additional funding from the City of Seattle, THS can help remove financial, privacy, and other barriers to care, making it easier for youth to access and continue treatment.
