Treatment for Youth with Substance Use Disorder
Become your best self with the best people by your side. Our evidence‐based treatments for youth substance are delivered by dedicated, caring and highly skilled staff of licensed mental health and chemical dependency professionals, case managers, nurses, physicians and psychiatrists. Working with them individually or as part of a group, a young person can count on each one to be part of a team helping them on the road to wellness.
Youth Substance Use Assessments
What is the level of involvement with drugs or alcohol? Each young person goes through a comprehensive, structured clinical interview. This interview guides THS staff in recommending the type of treatment best suited to the youth’s recovery needs. The team’s assessment creates a pathway of referral to other THS programs and services.
Youth Outpatient Treatment
Our goal is to stop the problem before it gets worse, empower young people to make better choices in the present and build healthier futures without the negative impacts of drugs or alcohol. Intensive treatment and recovery support can include individual, group or family counseling, case management and referral to community services.
We accept all Apple Health/Medicaid plans for Youth Substance Use services. We also provide a sliding-fee scale where the cost of service is adjusted, based on the patient’s level of income. Learn more about the health insurance plans we accept here.
Youth Drug/Alcohol Prevention Education
Regularly scheduled classes focus on intervention with youth experiencing misuse and the initial problems associated with alcohol or other drugs.
