Our vocational services staff builds collaborations with business owners and community employers to secure job opportunities for our program participants. Our program offers job readiness training and seeks to place participants with employers who provide jobs that pay living wages, offer room for advancement and include necessary work supports such as health coverage, sick leave and paid vacation.
The THS vocational curriculum assists participants in acquiring the skills they need to complete job applications, forms, resumes and competitively interview. After job placement, THS staff provide individual counseling and community support services aimed at helping participants remain employed.
Additionally, our vocational staff helps participants to secure public funding as they progress through THS treatment programs and services.
