The Annex Drop-In Center
The Annex Drop-In Center is a safe, recovery-friendly drop-in center for women with children and families who utilize THS treatment services. The purpose of the Annex is to provide a safe place that supports sobriety and helps clients develop effective parenting skills. The Annex is open from 7am-2pm to women with children and families. The Annex provides parenting education, family counseling, one-on-one counseling, group classes (e.g., Prenatal, Birth to 4, Staying Connected With Your Teen), client-led support groups, and women's support groups (such as sober support groups). Groups meet weekly for one hour sessions. There are computers in the common room that clients can use to look for jobs and connect with online resources. Once weekly, a public health nurse is available for women's and children's wellness. Yoga classes are offered to help support sobriety. Clients can also reserve the Annex for celebrations such as children's birthday parties.
The Annex is located adjacent to the Summit/Seneca campus.
